Cayuga County Sheriff's Office

FOIL Request Procedures in Cayuga County

New York's Freedom of Information Law gives the public the right to see most government records, including police blotter data, arrest logs, and incident reports. The law is codified in Public Officers Law Article 6, Sections 84 through 90. Most arrest records are accessible.
