The Irondequoit Police Department is accredited by the NYS Department of Criminal Justice Services. Its organizational structure includes a Patrol Division, Criminal Investigation Unit, Community Service Unit, and Administration-Records Division. The department operates 24 hours a day and maintains records at the Public Safety Building.
